Bring it

I, too, am glad Ryan and Lindsey were not in GF during the pre-dike days.  There was a lot of confusion, questioning, and experimentation.   It was a crazy time....so I hear.    pre-dike!!

 

I also finally ready my bro's blog on the MT trip a couple months ago.  Talk about eating!!  That was pretty damn funny stuff.  All finished up with some Little Ceaser's.

 

Going to be an uncle soon!  If not in the next few days, for sure by Wednesday I believe.  Can't wait for my parents to be grandparents!!  I have a feeling they will be way too good at it. 

 

Happy Cinco de Mayo weekend!

Had a great weekend here.  Mom gave a bit of a scare during a driving incident (a sudden stop left her loopy), but other than that, it was a great weekend.  Spent time with friends and family, had some drinks, had some oysters.  Great weather too.  Dad turned 61 and Jan turned...I'm not sure.  But we had fun celebrating all weekend.

 

So now that I learned there are actual readers of my blog....thanks work peeps....I find it necessary to actually blog. 

 

Weather was 81 or so here today.  Can't complain at all.  I will when it is 120 though.  You can count on it.

 

Okay, time for a drink.  Shopping and then a drink.  It is better the other way around, for sure.  Might do that instead.

First entry in my new and, as far as I remember, only blog.  I find it hard to find time to do most of the things I want to.  Adding "blogging" to the list and it just becomes one more thing I won't get done.  But, perhaps I will get into it as thousands have before me. 

 

Thanks bro for giving me the info on msnSpaces.  It might be pretty cool...we'll see.  Oh, and thanks for the info on Chuck Norris.  I really didn't know some of that stuff.

 

So Kim and I are sick of retirement and are actively seeking employment.  It is a bit difficult to not spend money and enjoy the various entertainment options here in the Phoenix area, especially when you are living with a semi-retired couple who needs activity partners.  Sure wish the Duke had a membership.  Cricky (sp?) I would spend the money and play all the damn time.  Sucks that it costs each and every time you go out.  The job hunt is going pretty well.  Kim has a second interview on Wednesday.  I expect to hear from a couple places soon regarding more interviews.  We need income but have to be careful to not take the first job that comes along.  We both want to make sure we are doing things that we WANT to be doing.  We do want to purchase a home soon, so money is an issue, but daily happiness is more important!

 

Thanks again Ryan for throwing Spaces my way.  I have not gotten addicted to Sudoku yet and don't plan to.  I am, however, addicted to DVR.  Is it bad when you look for the rewind button while listening to the radio in your car?
